  • CURRENT SERMON SERIES

After writing his gospel account, Luke wrote a sequel called “The Acts of the Apostles.” Acts tells us the story of the church that Jesus set into motion. It reads like a sweeping symphony, recounting the ups and downs of the early church. But the symphony never really concludes, as we, the church, are it’s final movement.

WHAT TO EXPECT…
Come as you are. There are no perfect people at WCC, so you’ll fit right in. You can expect rousing worship, relevant messages, and real fellowship.

WHAT WE BELIEVE…
What does it mean to follow Jesus? We believe that living the Christian life is characterized by freedom, love, and compassion.

WHAT’S HAPPENING…
When Jesus was asked, “What is the greatest commandment?” he did not hesitate. “Love God and love your neighbor.” At WCC, we are serious about that, and our calendar reflects it.

WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS…
We offer a full service nursery for our littlest guests, and classes for kids of every age. We are committed to a safe, fun experience for our kids.

WCC teaches more about the Lord than the traditions and rules of the church. They support the members and those outside the church like the shelter in Eureka. When I needed support, they were there to support me and my kids. It’s like a party all the time, with the Lord at the center. –Gary Whitehead, WCC member

In my darkest moments WCC wrapped their arms around me and introduced me to this love our LORD and SAVIOR wants to share with us. I have seen the church do wonderful things, not just for me but others near and far. I have met some of the kindest people in my life at WCC and cherish the family they have become to me.–Cindy Powers, WCC member

Washington Christian Church is my earthly support group that keeps me charged, challenged and comforted. Charged like my phone – plugged in at church, charged by sermons, activities, and fellowship, unplugged to serve in the community and apply what I have learned. Challenged to actively and daily find a way to serve and use what I have gained at WCC. Comforted in God's blessing to connect with other believers, receive prayer through trials and tribulations, and rejoice in good times. You can survive without going to church, but why would you want to?–Robin Nelson, WCC member
