COME AS YOU ARE. There are no perfect people at WCC, so you’ll fit right in. There’s no dress code. Seriously.
Every Sunday, you will find a smile and a handshake. We want to make you feel at home, because we do. We don’t expect you to be “fixed” when you get here because we believe Jesus is the one who fixes us, and we hope you find him here.
Most Sundays you can expect a full band playing your favorite contemporary worship songs and some of the old favorites, but maybe with a new twist. You can raise your hands or sit on them. You can sing out or just listen.
We desire to create for the Creator. We sing a new song, do a new thing, but maintain a respect for the tradition and teaching of the innumerable believers who have wrestled with the gospel over thousands of years of faith.
Have a cup of coffee on us. It is available before and after every service, and sometimes we have donuts.
Also, we have friendly, trained folks to keep an eye on your little ones during the service, just ask at the Welcome Center and they will direct you to the nursery.
One thing you can be sure of: we will not apologize for the gospel. The Bible will be preached. The gospel will be shared. We believe this changes lives. We believe Jesus is who he says he is, and we stand on that, without apology.
Every Sunday, we offer the Eucharist (communion), which is open to all believers, and we take up an offering to help with operating expenses, benevolence, and outreach. If you are new, especially a first-time visitor, don’t feel obligated to partake in either one.
Don’t forget to swing by the Welcome Center on your way in to pick up a Welcome Packet and a free gift. Also swing by on your way out and you can pick up a free CD of the worship service to listen to during the week.
