what is worship?
Because God created us for worship, we place a high priority on worship at WCC. We believe scripture teaches that worship is not necessarily something we do to make ourselves feel better or to "get in touch with God," but instead it is something we do for God.

Because He deserves our praise, we praise Him. This does not mean it doesn't make us feel good or get us in touch with God; it only means that, if those are our reasons for worship, we short-circuit the process. We must worship God because He is God. The rest is just gravy.
