When a woman has been in residence at a homeless shelter and is ready to reenter the community, they are on their own. What we need is some sort of halfway house, some form of transitional housing. That is where My Sister’s House comes in. A few months from now, a transitional housing facility will open in Washington and WCC hopes to be a part of that effort. Stay tuned over the coming months as we inform you on progress and on opportunities for service.
